The 3B123-1 RPL is a current regulated power supply printed circuit card. This unit can be designed into your control system to operate magnetic particle clutches and brakes up to 1 amp at 90vdc. This current regulator has four selectable ranges, 1/8,1/4, 1/2, and 1 amp. It also incorporates reverse current ability as a standard feature. This allows greater controllability in the lowest torque ranges of the clutch or brake being operated.
The circuit card can be mounted in the equipment cabinet, and the operator can control the clutch or brake by remote control console. If desired, the unit can alternately be controlled by a 0 to 10 VDC from a PLC or other device.
