New DIN Rail Mount options make MAGPOWR's popular tension controls an even better fit for existing operations.
MAGPOWR, an industry leader in web tension products and services, introduces 3 new DIN Rail Mount Controls: the TSA Tension Sensor Amplifier, DFC-90 Dancer-Follower Control and the PS-90 Power Supply. These new controls are economical and compact, providing simplicity and ease-of-use for any of your tension control applications.
The TSA Tension Sensor Amplifier provides maximum accuracy and ease of use in any web tension measurement application with superior drift and linearity performance over competitive units. The TSA provides a gain control range of 8:1, and a tare adjustment of 50% of the sensor rating. Selectable 115/230 vac input and 0-10 vdc or 4-20 madc output provide maximum interface flexibility.
The DFC-90 is a low cost tension control that can be used in Dancer or Follower Arm Control of a magnetic particle clutch or brake. An enhanced Dancer algorithm and tuning method provide optimum control and ease of use. The DFC-90 features a compact enclosure, easily accessible potentiometers for setup and clearly marked intuitive control adjustments.
The PS-90 is a current regulated 90 vdc power supply used for the control of magnetic particle clutches and brakes in unwind, rewind, or intermediate tension control applications. With four selectable current ranges, it can be used to control any size clutch or brake with optimum resolution. The PS-90 can be adjusted manually or by 0-10 vdc input from an automatic controller.
