Engineers and operators can update their knowledge on closed-loop tension control in a new one-hour on-line seminar delivered by MAGPOWR engineers
Fenton, MO ñ MAGPOWR, an industry leader in web tension control and systems, will provide the presentation on closed-loop tension control for the ìTech Tipsî e-seminar scheduled November 20th, 2003. Sponsored by Maxcess International, this hour-long interactive presentation provides an alternative to traditional seminars that require time away from the office or travel. The e-seminar program has been developed in response to request from customers for short, technology-focused training.
This first seminar, hosted by MAGPOWR, will cover the most recent improvements in closed-loop tension control technology. From weightless load cell calibration to gain compensation, auto-tune to out-of-round roll compensation, new features are being introduced to allow an operator to run faster, smarter, better. Attendees will learn how these new technologies can make the production process more productive and trouble-free.
Stephanie Tuggle, Director of Marketing for Maxcess International describes the thinking behind these seminars, ìCustomers have told us that they donít have time to attend seminars, but they always want to learn more. This is an interactive way to learn, from their desktop, in the time they would devote to a one-hour meeting.î She expands on the seminar, ìThis is a completely new way to educate our customer base. Both about the technology and the process of tension control.î
Mike Zlatic, a seasoned presenter for MAGPOWR Torque and Tension Control seminars, brings a broad range of application knowledge and experience to this event. Attendees will be encouraged to send application questions to Mr. Zlatic after the presentation for practical advice based upon real-world experience.
