Electrical Systems Engineer

We currently have an immediate opening for an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team.  The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years related experience.  PLC Programming experience is required and experience in a manufacturing plant is preferred.  This candidate should be proficient in C with knowledge of C++ using Object-Oriented Design methodologies and assembly coding.  Experience with embedded software programming, including resource conflicts, concurrency, multi-tasking, memory management, network and hardware communications, UART/Ethernet interface, and internet protocols are a plus.

The daily responsibilities of the Electrical Systems Engineer will include, but not be limited to:

  1. Developing integrated processes control solutions which require programming of our proprietary processors and/or vendor supplied PLC’s.
  2. Researching and analyzing data such as customer design proposal specification, design prints and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
  3. Designing electrical and electromechanical products or systems containing power distribution panels, various industrial controls, robots, motors, actuators, encoders, etc.
  4. Developing customer-specific applications for industrial process control in systems with embedded real-time firmware by taking concepts through requirements, planning, design code, test and integration.
  5. Developing PLC programs and HMI screens for control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems and field installation requirements that ensure products and systems conform to customer specifications.
